Arizona Housing Coalition CONFERENCES

Education is key to our mission and our work. The Arizona Housing Coalition offers a variety of education and training opportunities for our Member Agencies and stakeholders, including Coalition signature events, our two annual conferences. It is the goal of the Coalition to provide training and educational events on timely issues in affordable housing and homeless services in an effort to assist in the development of a highly-trained workforce, equipped with best practices in ending homelessness and creating and preserving more affordable housing opportunities in Arizona.

The Coalition is proud to host two annual conferences:

Annual Healthy Communities Conference

Collaboration is also one of the main pillars of our work. Each spring, the Arizona Housing Coalition is proud to partner with the Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities to execute our signature event, the Annual Healthy Communities Conference. This one-day conference focuses on the intersection of health and housing, bringing together approximately 250 community development practitioners, planning and health professionals, affordable housing developers, nonprofits and direct-service providers, government, and elected officials from all corners of Arizona. Now going into it’s fifth year, the Annual Healthy Communities Conference only gets better as it continues to seek out cutting edge speakers and topics to learn about local and national initiatives which connect health community planning with resources, integrate supportive services with housing, and invest in health communities.

Annual Statewide Conference on Ending Homelessness

Each fall, the Coalition proudly hosts Arizona’s only Annual Statewide Conference on Ending Homelessness, which continues to be a sell out training event. This two-day conference is the premiere vent for the housing and homeless services industry in Arizona, attracting 500-600 participants from the public and private sectors, including direct-service providers, civil service employees, homeless school liaisons, local and state legislators and policymakers, faith-based organizations, and advocates. The event showcases dynamic speakers and prominent leaders in the field of ending homelessness, features sessions focused on innovative best practices and solutions, an awards ceremony to honor excellence in our communities, and is an unparalleled opportunity for peer support and networking.
