Wecome to our Young Professionals Network, NextGenAZ.
NextGenAZ, an initiative of the Arizona Housing Coalition, is a space for early-career professionals (typically under 40 or in the first 10 years of their housing/public service career) to build community, grow as leaders, and shape the future of housing and homelessness solutions across the state. Here, you’re supported and connected through events, mentorship, and leadership opportunities as we cultivate the next generation of changemakers dedicated to ensuring every Arizonan has a safe, affordable place to call home.
NextGenAZ convenes four times per year, offering education, networking, and community-building opportunities in locations across the state. From policy workshops to regional meetups, NextGenAZ gatherings are designed to elevate early-career voices and strengthen Arizona’s affordable housing movement.
Early Architecture = Faster Feasibility + Stronger Deals
Thursday, April 9, 2026 | Mini Social (Scottsdale) | 5:00 – 7:00pm
Due diligence is the process that transforms a potential site from uncertainty into informed decision-making. In this NextGenAZ meet, we’ll explore the key questions, workflows, and level of analysis required to determine whether a site truly works—covering zoning, development yield, constraints, approvals, and execution risk.
We also invite you to share what’s happening in your community! NextGenAZ gatherings are designed to elevate early-career voices and strengthen Arizona’s affordable housing movement through collaboration and shared learning.
