Your Gift Qualifies for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit

Because we are a 501(c)3 qualifying organization, when an Arizona resident makes a donation they receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit through their Arizona tax return. For the 2025 tax season, you can get up to $495 for those filing as single or $987 for those filing as married/jointly.

More Information on the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit

The Arizona Housing Coalition is an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization (#20111). 

  • Donations for the 2025 tax season may qualify for a dollar-for-dollar Charitable Tax Credit of up to $987 for couples filing jointly or $495 for individuals.
  • If you want to claim a donation towards the AZ Charitable Tax Credit, the donation must be made by an individual, not a business or other entity.
  • Your donation must be financial. In-kind or item donations of any kind don’t qualify for the tax credit.
  • To claim your credit, submit AZ Form 321 when filing your taxes and receive a tax credit in the amount of your donation, up to the maximum amounts described above.
  • You do not need to make your AZ Charitable Tax Credit donations prior to December 31 to claim a state tax credit on your taxes for that year.
    • You are, however, required to list donations from different calendar years separately on AZ Form 321. Charitable Tax Credit donations made between January 1 and the tax deadline of the current year, but intended to be used for your previous year taxes, must be listed on Part 1, Section B of AZ Form 321.
